Age Concern Outings
Age Concern outings are arranged during the year for those who do not find it very easy to get out
unaccompanied. We usually have three half day outings in spring, summer and autumn to parks
or garden centres, and a trip to a shopping centre at Christmas time.
The clients are transported in a minibus with wheelchair access and all the clients are collected and
dropped off at their homes. Volunteers are always needed for these outings, to help escort our

Age Concern Holidays
From October 2008, Age Concern Spelthorne will be working in conjunction
with Creative Travel Holidays to bring
unique holiday and travel experiences to our clients.
Creative Travel have
been running holidays for the retired age group for over twenty six years and have run holidays
for over thirty six different Age Concerns throughout the UK. The holidays include coaches, hotel, entertainment, tours
and insurance cover.
